Cookie Policy

What cookies do on this site, who sets them, and exactly how to switch off the ones you don't want.

Last updated July 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit, like preferences and how you found us, which can make your next visit easier — and help us understand how the site is performing.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

TypeWhat it does
EssentialLets core parts of the site function correctly, including remembering your cookie choice. The site won't work properly without these.
AnalyticsHelps us understand which pages get visited and how the site performs, so we can improve it.
AdvertisingUsed by Microsoft Advertising to measure campaign performance. Only set with your consent.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Our advertising and analytics provider — Microsoft — may place its own cookies through this site to measure how our campaigns perform. Microsoft maintains its own opt-out tools and privacy controls on its advertising preference pages.

Microsoft Advertising (UET): this Site uses the Microsoft Universal Event Tracking tag, through which Microsoft collects or receives data from users for conversion tracking and advertising. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

4. How Consent Works on This Site

Advertising and analytics cookies default to off. On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the screen asks whether to turn them on; nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies is set until you click Accept. If you click Decline, or simply close the banner without choosing, advertising cookies stay off. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" button that appears once you've made a choice.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an automatic decline of advertising/analytics cookies — you won't be asked again, and the choice sticks until you change it yourself via "Cookie preferences."

5. Managing and Disabling Cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings menu — look for "Privacy," "Security," or "Cookies" in your browser's preferences. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com. Blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the site function.

6. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal, separate from Global Privacy Control described above. Because there's no single, agreed-upon standard for how sites should respond to Do Not Track specifically, this site does not currently change its behavior when it detects a Do Not Track signal on its own — GPC is the signal we act on automatically.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
